
A fine English chest of drawers of walnut and oak from the Queen Anne period, circa 1710, featuring a moulded top of beautiful figured burl walnut, above a frieze of two short drawers and three long, graduated drawers.
The drawers are adorned with period-appropriate decorative brass escutcheons and pendant pull handles.
The piece is veneered throughout in richly figured burr walnut, with paneled oak sides, displaying excellent color and patination.
