A fine 19th c. English coaching or field table (folding) of mahogany featuring elegant serpentine-shaped turning for the supports, with brass hinges and a handsome patina to the wood.

Such tables were used in the age of carriages or coaches for easy transport and set-up during expeditions.

The table flips closed for easy transport or storage; the legs allowing the table to fold flat when travelling.
